Originaly a medieval fort, the castle was transformed into an elegant and large seignorial home beginning XVIIth century. Today, the château de la Flocellière has six towers forming a vast square with a majestic 11th century tower in the center of this historical site and romantic ruins around the medieval garden.
The castle owners have been restoring and improving this domaine with elegant furniture, family portraits and antiques. They have also given special attention for the modern confort of the bed and bathrooms.
